System/Network Administrator
We are looking for really good IT System administrator. And by really good, we mean, really, really good. You will work in a small team on various assignments, from integrating multiple hardware platforms to deploying Lightbits storage solutions into the company's on-prem datacenter . Your duties will include building and maintaining the Lightbits private mini-cloud and working in synergy with R&D and customer-facing organizations.
The position is based in Kfar Saba, Israel
Responsibilities

Deployment of networking equipment, racks, networking and servers

Fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exceptions

Professionally resolve hardware issues via trouble ticket against vendors

Proactively maintain and develop all Linux infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service

Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs

Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning

Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware

Create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks

Maintain a helpdesk for the internal Linux, Windows and macOS users

Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes
Desired Skills and Experience

Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role

Knowledge of Linux and its major distributions, like RedHat/CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, etc.

Hands on experience with servers hardware integration

Familiarity with switches and routers and their management

Experience in Shell scripting

Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP and SNMP

Organized, self-motivated, able to multi-task and work independently as well as a team player

Good communications skill with the ability to provide assistance to non-technical users
